With many rumours of Agrium’s Red Water, Ab facility having phos rock supply issues over the past year or more, it seems that Agrium has finally resolved the issue by agreeing to a long term phos rock contract with OCP out of Morocco. The contract will replace the rock previously coming from Agrium’s mine in Kapuskasing, Ontario. This will secure rock for Agrium until 2020. This will ensure that Agrium is able to continue to supply phosphate out of the Northern Alberta facility.
