Farm Credit Canada (FCC) is accepting applications for its Agrispirit fund from now until June 20, 2011. The corporation is donating $1 million in funding to rural community groups across Canada for building projects. Rural groups can receive between $5,000 and $25,000 for projects such as emergency services equipment, playgrounds, recreation centres and care homes in communities with populations under 100 thousand. Last year, more than 900 applications were received, and 104 community groups received funding. Non-profit groups are asked to apply online by going to www.fcc-fac.ca
