Team Laycock is heading to the Brier with after a win at the Saskatchewan provincials last weekend. I speak for everyone at Decisive Farming when I say how proud we are of them and the way they play the game with skill and sportsmanship. We all look forward to seeing what this young team can accomplish and our proud to be part of their journey. Please be sure to cheer them on March 1-9th in Kamloops.

Here is the report from Team Laycock on the weekends event:

As most of you already know, our team has accomplished step one in our goal of being world champions by winning the Saskatchewan Tankard Championship last week. We are absolutely thrilled and cannot wait for the 2014 Tim Horton’s Brier in Kamloops from March 1-9!

The support we have received in the last 2 years, leading up to and now after the championship is overwhelming and we cannot put into words what it means to us; thank you. Without the support from our fans, friends, families and partners we would not have been able to chase our dreams of winning a Brier championship for Saskatchewan!

We put together probably the best weekend of our teams life in Shaunavon at provincials. We played upwards of 90% as a team on hard marks by demanding coach Lyle!! We quite possibly played the best of those games as a unit in the final; never looking forward, never looking back, just staying in the moment. When that final shot was made it was a dream come true for the squad!!

You can Watch Team Laycock next month on TSN or as some of my co-workers suggested rent a motor-home and go on a road trip to support the team. Sounds like a great time to me! See you there?
