Retired Ag Retailer Recognized in CAAR Hall of Fame

This past February at the Canadian Association of Ag Retailers conference, Bruce Schmaltz; father of Decisive Farming’s CEO Remi Schmaltz, was honored with a Hall of Fame Award for a lifetime of achievement. This was a proud day for Bruce as he was recognized for his hard work and achievement in Agriculture over the past 30 years. Bruce wasn’t there to focus on where he came from though, instead he chose to look ahead at the future of agriculture. Making mention in his acceptance speech of the light of innovation that is shining though the currently consolidated Ag industry. After the conference Bruce commented that one of those lights was Decisive Farming, where he is proud to see his sons and 4th generation Ag business owners continuing to drive efficiency and innovation into the industry. “They are doing some incredible things” remarked Bruce. This year Decisive Farming is launching My Farm Manager an integrated dashboard that will connect the farm and provide new insight to the farmer. When asked about it Bruce said “It’s an exciting product and I can’t wait to see the response from the industry”. Even retired Bruce keeps his finger on the pulse of the markets and has no plans to slow down just yet.
