Decisive Farming using the Track N Go

When  Ad Boivin had a new prototype track system to test out they must have known what a great team Decisive Farming would be to put it through the paces. Decisive Farming was one of 10 companies selected to try out the prototype tracks and when asked what he thinks about them, Manager of Agronomy – Garth Donald says “they are amazing, we look forward to having more of them.” Decisive Farming does a lot of soil testing for their Variable Rate Technology service Optimize RX and with over 400,000 acres to soil test they can’t count on having clear fields from November to May when they do all of their testing across Western Canada. Tracks are essential to be able to soil test the acres they do and they see the Track N Go system as the way of the future. The current system requires trailering a tracked vehicle and pulling it to the field with another truck. The idea of having a fleet of trucks that can drive to the field on wheels and hop onto tracks has the obvious advantage of cutting down on the number of trucks in the fleet.
