With a recent decline in world phosphate prices manufacturers in the US and Russia have announced that they will be cutting production.  Manufacturers feel that the recent decline doesn’t reflect the real situation in agriculture and that they will reduce supply to get prices supported at higher levels.  With a recent surge in corn prices and tightening supply on phosphate it is expected that prices will firm.
